Tourism
The ideal time to visit the country depends on the type of vacation you plan to take. The ideal time for diving is from March to May and from September to November. Safety, health and medical care
The islands are generally considered safe places , but the number of crimes committed against tourists has increased in recent times. Theft, robbery and car break-ins have typically occurred. Therefore, we recommend that you follow the generally recommended rules for distant exotic countries. If possible, avoid walking around the islands at night and avoid storing cash during your visits. We recommend that you keep valuables (cash, personal and business documents) in a safe during your stay on the islands. We recommend that you make photocopies of the passport data page and the entry stamp and use the copies during excursions, sightseeing tours and business negotiations. If possible, keep your mobile phones with you and save the most important local phone numbers (hotel, tour guide, honorary consul).
Before traveling, we recommend visiting the National Epidemiological Center , where they will provide up-to-date information on necessary vaccinations and other tropical health issues.
