The 27 districts of Seychelles
From the reclaimed islands off Victoria to the Aldabra atoll a thousand kilometres south, the districts are the map of home.
Seychelles is divided into 27 administrative districts: 22 on Mahé and its surrounding islands including Greater Victoria, plus Praslin's two, La Digue and the Inner Islands, and the Outer Islands. Each district runs a District Administration under the Ministry of Local Government.
