Anse Royale

Where it is
Anse Royale is part of South Mahé, on Mahé. The south, near the old spice garden of Jardin du Roi.
The name
The name means, in French, royal cove, near the site of the 18th-century royal spice garden at Anse Royale.
Its people
The last full count was the 2022 Population and Housing Census, which put the whole country at 100,447, up almost ten percent on 2010. The districts of Mahé hold about 86 percent of that total.
